Yes, I'm officially 9 weeks pregnant. Had my TVS this morning for confirmation. Thank God for keeping her safe and healthy in my womb.

A risky business

Every once in a while, I remind myself of things that I want to do and been longing to accomplish. Some practical, some are grand. Some are easy, some are just so effing hard. Some, I just have to find time with. While the rest require some figuring out.

Often times, my frustrations arrive from things that I encounter. Be it watching a television show or movies or by just meeting someone who happens to be doing that something I want to do. In short, inggitera ako. haha!

Kidding aside, it feels like these things inspire you to move out of my comfort zone.

It's just  funny because I recently chance upon something that is so out of my world. And I remember getting frustrated of it for years but I haven't really done something to develop it.

Yes. It's writing. I am a poor writer. Look!  I can't even maintain a blog. haha!

The truth is, I am willing to take a risk. And it's been a while since I had taken one.

Whatever the circumstances are, just have to remember that all people die. Life is short. So do what your instinct tells you so.

The start of something new

I woke up this morning the same time I usually wake up in weekdays. Ate breakfast with hubby, had shower and dressed up. Kissed and hugged Sari goodbye, told her I'd be back later and then we headed out to the same route. The only difference is, I am heading to a new place. This day will jump start the best that I have yet to see.

Today is officially the first day in my new job. Gawd! I'm soooo freaking scared of what's gonna happen. I have no idea of what to expect. But it seems that it's turning out really good so far though I had some idle time just like now.

Arvie, a new colleague, gave me a heads up and it just pumped my blood! The excitement is taking over my fears and that's a good thing. I'm glad I had that conversation with him. I am beginning to have an idea of what's in store for me. Honestly, it would not be that easy, just like any other tasks, but they sure are something to look forward to.

I am loving the good vibes!!

Hi guys! As we all know... Iiwan nanaman muli tayo ng isa nating kakosa na walang puso at damdamin. At dahil dito, sana makonsensya siya dahil kahit na iiwan na niya tayo ay magpapakain pa rin tayo ng mirienda sa kanya. hahaha Sa dakong alas kwatro ng hapon sa araw ng marso 15, tayo ay mag titipon tipon sa kwartong pakomperensya upang gunitain ang paglisan niya. Strawberry Pastillas

I super love pastillas!!! Well, I honestly love milk. It's a good thing I am not lactose intolerant or else, I'll be missing a lot.

Ever since hs, I've been planning to make my own pastillas that i can munch all day. And I finally did after more than a decade. Thanks to boredom!

TRIAL #1: Bacon Omelette

kitchen is not for me. I know!

But due to my hubby's request, I found myself working in it a few weeks ago to make bacon omelette for him for breakfast.

Was it a disaster?

Yes and no.

What's going on Christina?! Are we living up again with the name X-tina??!

My favorite person Christina got arrested for intoxication and sent several hours sobering up in a jail.

The sheriff said she was detained for her own safety because she was too drunk.

Xtina will not be prosecuted and was release after about four hours when she finally came to her senses.

Meanwhile, Matthew Rutler, her boyfriend was also arrested and was charged with DUI.

Not liking the vibes...

I love Nicole. I just love her. Did I just say i love her?

She's crazy good! Funny without trying hard and she seems to be a very committed mother, which I really admire.

Heart her style too! Like big time!

She's the type I'd love to spend time with, talk about things like motherhood,family, kids, fashion and crazy stuff in one seating (with my other favorite people---  Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Victoria and David Beckham)

I wish I could do things like she does in my own little ways. I am inspired with how she does things and how she balances everything. I hope I can do the same.

Space-buster!

I love browsing magazines and websites that feature diff design ideas. How I wish I can do it in my home and work the spaces. Been wondering what to do with it, andami kasi bilang kalilipat lang namin and we only have the basics.  I want to explore but just scared to actually try  it (takot sa gastos bka magkamali).

Realized I can go ahead and do it by myself.Just need a great inspiration, look for inexpensive materials, plan it and execute carefully. But no matter how confident I sound, I'm still freaking afraid.

Maybe I should start looking for some ideas.

a daughter's comfort

Last night, while I was busy organizing my accessories, I began thinking of the recent things that had happened. It felt really heavy inside and I started crying.

I heard my husband talking to Sari to go get me without them knowing I was already sobbing.

Sari, all jovial and excited, went up to me and saw me inside the storage room with tears streaming down my face. Her smile turned into uncertainty. Perhaps, wondering what's going on and why I was crying.

She suddenly wiped the tears on my cheek, waved her hand and said "Hi!" with a big smile.

I knew that moment on that she was trying to comfort me and make me feel better.

I hugged her and just cried and felt really lucky to have her and understand that I needed that touch to make those pain go away.

I love you Sari. You are my angel.

So this is what I missed...

I saw this ad in Pax blog and thought, "ilalaban ko to!"

Ngunit, subalit, datapwat... I realized it happened yesterday.

The House is now a HOME

The start of 2011 has been a rollercoaster ride for me. To think, it's been two months pa lang.Talaga naman sinusubok ang pasensya ko! wow!

Despite the challenges and hardship (physical and emotional), there's always the bright side.

This house is our new home.

It has been a liberating experience living with my husband and my daughter all by ourselves (with the help two helpers and two dogs.lol!). I found new meaning in our marriage and a new perspective of a family. It's been great but will never be that easy. Still, I'm thankful and I'm grateful. 

On the contrary, the other half of me is suffering. The joy of having a house and a home with my husband and daughter is just thrilling but thinking of my other family, who is struggling to keep a house is just disheartening . I'm just assured by the fact that there's is still home, although in a few months, a house will be gone (another long story).

I didn't know this would really hurt me that much. I hope I can cope. It's been really an exhausting emotional journey.

Praying for my strength and my loved ones...

This is my FIRST

Went to the launch of Greater Good and Stylebreak in Borough to work last week.

Got featured in Stylebible.ph  . This is probably the first and the last time since I don't attend this kind of occasion that much and there's nothing really unique about my style. I usually go for classic, laid-back and seldom experiment. I wonder what got me here (never mention you have a friend working in stylebible) ???

It must be my animal print scarf that I purchased in Ukay Baguio for P50.00!

Fashion Idea: The Maxi Skirt

I have to say that majority of females  in Manila are not into wearing maxi skirt . Aside from the fact that majority of us commute (hello hello jeepney peeping toms, et al) ---- some just find it losyang, while others find it really hard to style.

Daring to wear a maxi skirt entails a lot of courage especially in a not-so-open-minded public like those from the streets of Manila (yeah, a lot still stick to classic and basic fashion theories).

But who cares anyway?!? It's your style and it's who you are.

That;s why I love fashion bloggers, they are not afraid to explore their style and express their individuality.

So for FI #1... Maxi Skirt.. I guess i have to go to ukay to look for one so I can post it soon.
